Your first horseback trail ride

Start your first ride with confidence.

No previous riding experience is required. In Saint-Lin–Laurentides, Ranch du Paradis welcomes beginners ages 6+ and adapts each departure to the group, the horses and the conditions of the day.

Beginners welcome

What should you expect on your first horseback trail ride?

Before departure, the team welcomes you, confirms your riding experience and assigns a suitable horse. You’ll then receive the essential instructions for communicating with your horse and following the group safely.

Walking is the main gait. Trot or gallop may be authorized only by the guide when the riders, horses, terrain and conditions are suitable; these gaits are never guaranteed.
